Ticket sales for this year’s Maritime Security & Defence Conference are now open. To ensure an exclusive exchange between industry, armed forces, politics, and research, attendance is limited.
Organised by Hamburg Messe und Congress, the MS&D will take place on 25 November for the first time as a standalone event. The previous edition was held as part of SMM 2024. This year, the security conference will be hosted for the first time at the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg – under the title “Zeitenwende? It’s all about Procurement!”.
MS&D presents high-profile speakers
Admiral (ret.) Joachim Rühle, former Chief of Staff at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), and Vice Admiral Carsten Stawitzki, Director-General for Equipment at the German Federal Ministry of Defence, have been confirmed as keynote speakers. They will provide key insights into security policy challenges and current procurement strategies in Europe.
The conference will focus on the security challenges and emerging opportunities of maritime procurement in Europe. Under the motto “Zeitenwende? It’s all about Procurement!”, the MS&D Conference 2025 will offer a top-class programme of keynotes, panel discussions, and expert talks on unmanned systems, dual-use innovations, and European defence cooperation.
