The traditional shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen has a new chief salesman for the marine division. Thomas Sperling comes from within the company.
Thomas Sperling is the new Naval Sales Manager at Abeking & Rasmussen. He has been with the company for seven years and was previously responsible for the interior and exterior design division as Head of Construction.
In the naval sector, Thomas Sperling has completed numerous training courses at NATO in Brussels and at the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College and is closely associated with it as a first lieutenant in the Navy.
Blohm+Voss before Abeking
Before joining Abeking & Rasmussen, the graduate architect worked as a project manager at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, where he was responsible for various orders.
Just a few weeks ago, A&R appointed a new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Björn Schlüter came from the neighbouring Fassmer shipyard. The shipyard now has a management duo: Matthias Hellmann (53) is CEO and Chairman of the Management Board.
